3.Verifies patient name procedure to be done and explains instruction clients change clothes to patient gown.
4.Performs X-ray Procedure Technically difficult cases will take longer procedure
5.Process the radiographs by running them through the automatic processor.
6.Quality of radiographs are checked and accepted
7.Nurse on duty are allowed to borrow films only if they have the stamp of their physician.
8.Interpretation / Official reading of Radiographs
9. Release of official report is usually given within 24 hours after the procedure, or depending on the discretion of the radiologist.
10. Receiving of official results/film is given to patient or relatives and will sign in receiving logbook. |
Check completeness of the request forms indicating the Case Number, Hospital Number Patient’s Name, age, sex, birthday, and history of patient signature of the requesting physician.
-Indicate the price of each test on the request form
2.Assesment and verification was done and order of payment was given
-Check the Official Receipt number
3. Interview patient/client.
4.Assist patient to assume correct position.
5. Maintains automatic processor.
6.Check the good x-ray imaging.
7.Release the x-ray film.
8.Wait for the official reading from the radiologist.
9. Print a copy of xray result for patient and record the result.
10. Release the result to the patient. |
